FAQs

Where do you recommend developing film?

We usually send our film to a few mail-in labs we trust. What matters most to us is consistency, clear ordering, fair pricing, and results we can rely on — not chasing the “best” lab every time.

We wrote more about where we develop our film and why we choose those labs on the blog here.

What kind of film do you carry?

Mostly 35mm, with a rotating mix of 120, disposable cameras, and Instax Mini film. We keep it curated, fun, and community-inspired. Have a film/camera rec? Let us know!

Can I buy film online?

Not yet! Right now, the Little Radical Film Shop is in-store only inside Paulina Springs Books. Swing by and say hi!

I'm new to film—what should I start with?

We recommend Kodak Gold 200 for beginners—it’s affordable, forgiving, and perfect for everyday shooting. Need help? Ask us or check out the “Film of the Month” pick!

When’s your next photo walk?

We host film walks once a month! Find upcoming dates on our events page, or scan the QR code on the fridge to sign up for updates.

Can I make a special film request?

Yes please! We love hearing what people want to shoot. Drop us a note in-store or email hello@littleradicalfilmshop.com.

Do you sell cameras?

Not at the moment, but we do carry disposable cameras—and we’re always happy to help you figure out what kind of camera you have or want!
